Khalid is qualified to degree level in Youth & Community Work he also holds qualifications in the field of health & safety competency and has been the principal policy and assessments advisor to various local authority institutions and community service sectors. Khalid also holds certificates and awards in various public sector fields

In his recent portfolio of work Khalid has gained a great deal of experience in the implementation of the Disability Discrimination Act and has managed funds for building improvements in excess of £50,000 for local adult education services to meet DDA obligations.

In addition to his professional activities, Khalid serves in a voluntary capacity on a number of organisations. His extensive knowledge of the South Asian community has enabled him to provide specialised assistance to many community organisations.
